New England – 2016

During late September and October 2016 we had a 2 week fly/drive holiday in New England, hoping to catch some of the New England fall colours. We flew into Boston and spent the first three nights there before picking up a hire car and driving to Boothbay Harbour on the Maine coast. After spending three nights in Boothbay, we drove to Jackson in the White Mountains of New Hampshire for the next three nights. Our next stop was Stowe in Vermont for three nights, followed by a final three night stay in Lee in the Berkshires area of Massachusetts. We then returned to Boston for the flight home.

The map below shows all our overnight locations. The total driving distance between all locations was 750 miles, though obviously we drove additional miles on days when we were not travelling between stops.
