During September and October 2016 we had a 2 week fly/drive holiday in New England, hoping to catch some of the New England fall colours. We flew into Boston and spent the first three nights there before picking up a hire car and driving to Boothbay Harbour on the Maine coast. After spending three nights there, we drove to Jackson in the White Mountains of New Hampshire for the next three nights. Next stop was Stowe in Vermont for three nights, followed by a final three nights in Lee in the Berkshires area of Massachusetts. Then we returned to Boston for the flight home.
