Slovenia – 2026
At the end of January 2026, we enjoyed a two week holiday in Slovenia at the Eastern end of the Alps. We had previously visited Slovenia in Autumn, so we knew a bit about the country, but we wanted to re-visit in winter in the hope of getting some snowy landscapes.
On our previous visit to Slovenia we had flown to Venice and picked up a hire car there, but for this holiday we were able to take a direct flight from Manchester to Ljubljana, which greatly reduced our travel time. Our itinerary was planned to visit the most photogenic areas of Slovenia.
